Hold the top cylinder steady with one hand and twist the bottom cylinder back and forth with your other hand.
Always keep your trimmer clean in between use. After trimming, simply blow out the hairs or rinse with water. For more thorough cleaning, loosen the screw and disassemble the trimmer. Clean and dry the parts. Then lubricate the inner shaft with household oil and re-assemble your trimmer. Take care of the cutting head.
